Swimming Lesson: Day 2

Taking swimming lessons became a top priority since moving to Texas, where we now have a pool. The littlest boy was cool with just hanging around the edge of the pool, that is until he found out all of his friends (his age, older and even younger) can swim. When he realized that he was the only one who didn’t know how to swim, suddenly just hanging out on the edge of the pool became the uncool thing to do.

The older children tried to teach him to swim and I even offered to teach him, but no! That was NOT good enough. He decided that he wanted to go to a professional swim coach to learn. Fine by me! I enrolled him in the super duper beginners class a little over a month ago, and today was his second lesson! 2 down, 6 to go……

After super duper beginners class, we move on to super beginners class, then beginners, then so on and so on……..
